October 2014 Collaborative Elizabeth Murray Project
This is a a group project that we made. They are cardboard shapes that we painted with acrylic paint. We each made one and later put them together. We wanted them to look the best they could. This was not the first configuration that we did.
The piece that I made was the yellow, blue and pink one. My goal was to make it pop and stand out. I wanted people's eyes to be drawn to it. Overall our goal was that people would enjoy our piece. This is a piece in public display in a hallway.

"Creeper" October 2014 Ink and Paper
The bottom one is the group set up. It has everyone's prints in it. We were allowed to put two prints in. The set up is a good one. It is very balanced with location and colors of the prints. They are all centered around the Native American head. The set up really brings unity to them all.
The top one is my four final prints. I really achieved creepy. The chatter in the background was very sharp and dark. It also provided an escape from all the negative space in the face with its positive space. I also have very creepy eyes and teeth in the print. The purple is my personal favorite because it is dark but it still has some color to it.

December 2014 Clay and Glaze
This is a vessel that I made in art class. It is a slice of cake. I got the inspiration from seeing a random picture of a cake on Google. The purple part of the cake is supposed to be the frosting and the yellowish is supposed to be the cake.

December 2014 Spray Paint and Canvas
This is a piece of street art that I made. The goal of the picture is to bring attention to LGBTQ issues. I used the LGBTQ flag as a prominent image to show this. The birds represent freedom and being on a path to equality. I chose this issue because everyone deserves rights. Your sexual orientation or gender shouldn't effect the rights that you get.
